As I sit here, thinking of everything we still have yet to do before the Chrome & Ice Indoor Car Show this year, I also am pretty excited about it! We have been displaying at this show for a few years now and always have a great time. This year we are trying something new and setting up also as a vendor. We will have one of our custom rat rod builds set up, but this year we will also be educating as many people as we can about what we do. We may have a few other surprises as well, so be sure to come and enjoy the show and look us up!! February 9-11, 2024 @ the Dort Financial Center in Flint, MI. #BTTB #Chrome&Ice

As we approach our 1 year anniversary of running our business full time, we reflect on all that has happened and all that may unfold in our future. We had a very good 2022 and hope, that with the current state of the economy, we can continue with that in 2023. We appreciate and applaud all of the great support that we have received from our loyal customers. We have met many new friends and spent time with old friends. We had opportunities to grow our business and our friend network in unexpected ways and even got to hit more local car shows than ever before. We are currently building our website to be bigger and better than ever before and our social network is growing very quickly. We are striving to resell as many vintage parts as we can find and save them from the scrap yards, all the while also building cool, safe, and affordable Rat Rods for generations to come. These are just a couple of our current and available projects pictured below. Here's to another Great Year to Come!! Thanks for Cruisin' with us!
This is how she was found after being parked in 1959 by the original owner. She was buried in mud and dirt up to her axles and there was not much left from that point down. The DACC (Detroit Area Corvair Club) found her after they removed over 35 Corvairs and misc other vehicles from this barn and several others on the family homestead in Fenton, MI. At some point between when she was purchased new in 1953 and parked in 1959, she had a few Hot Rod upgrades done to her. There had also been some body repairs and we are not quite sure why she was parked for good. In May 2022, almost to the day that she was originally purchased in 1953, she was pulled out of the barn for the first time since 1959. Since she was a perfect candidate for a chassis swap, to become a Rat Rod, we scooped her up! She is about ready to emerge from our shop to cruise the roads again!!
Keep Cruisn'! ~Sheryl @ Rat Rod Relics Hi everyone! Well it's been just over a month since I have come over to our business full time and Boy has it been busy! We are loving it! Our main goal in getting old relics back on the road is really taking off. We have a few new projects in the bays and I am listing parts for sale on Facebook Shops/Marketplace and our website as fast as I can. If you have a few minutes, please check them out. We are trying to repurpose as many old vehicles and parts as we can to keep them out of the scrap yards. Please feel free to contact us with your parts or Rat Rod needs! I'm Sheryl@RatRodRelics.com and then there's Craig@RatRodRelics.com as well.
See ya next week with one of our newest projects...a One Owner 1953 Chevy 210 that was parked in 1959.... Keep on Cruisin'! Sheryl @ Rat Rod Relics Well, after a lot of years, I finally got to drive another one of our rat rods! Hubby tricked me into a "Quick ride around the block"! We got a little more than half way around and he stopped in the road, parked and said "Your Turn!" Now mind you, I have driven other Street Rods, Hot rods and the occasional yard drive in some of our project vehicles, but I have only driven one other Custom Built Rat Rod on the road. I had a lot of fun cruising, a little too slow, the rest of the way home in the 1927 Ford Model T Sedan custom rat rod. It has a brand new Blueprint Ford 302, so she can be quick, but I didn't want to step on it too much on my first voyage. It is definitely easy to drive, even with manual brakes. She is a great cruiser and quite the looker! She's currently for sale. Give us a call or drop us a line to get more info.
Keep Cruisin'! Sheryl @ Rat Rod Relics LLC ...this is the vehicle that started it all! Our 1948 Dodge Panel Delivery. We found this gem, glistening in the sun, at the NSRA Nats North in 1994. Just a few weeks after we got married. You see, it was in pieces and stripped down to bare metal. It had holes in it and rust, but we saw a perfect start to our lives together as a street rodding couple. We bought it that fateful weekend as a wedding gift to each other. 26 years later and it is still our baby and we are still going strong. We have created Rat Rod Relics with that same passion, building Custom Rat Rods for all to enjoy!

Working on the 1954 Chevy Bel Air right now. Just a quick trip through Dallas, but had to stop @ Gas Monkey Garage. We had perfect timing because as we shopped around their "Merch Store" Richard appeared in the parking lot for pictures. Didn't get to talk much (Richard was in a Hurry). It was a pleasant surprise and he was super nice! Thanks for the pic #RichardRawlings #ratrodrelics
Finally getting to this '54 Chevy Bel Air that followed us home back in September of '18. Follow us here or on our Facebook page to see the progress. Everything is "For Sale". Let us know if you have any questions.
Keep Cruisin' ~Sheryl @ RatRodRelics.com Another one followed us home! This '56 Cadillac 4 door will be going into the work bay soon. She is rusty, crusty and Cool just the way she is. We just need to get her back on the road.
Keep Cruisin' ~Sheryl @ RatRodRelics.com Well, it's getting closer to spring and that means it's time to clean and make room for all of the new projects coming in this year. We'll be listing more great deals on eBay (ratrodrelicsllc), Facebook (RatRodRelics) and on our website (RatRodRelics.com).
We will be updating and refreshing the website as well. Check it out often! We have a few Rat Rods for sale right now. Check them out on our website page Rat Rods - For Sale. Let's get ready to Cruise!! ~Sheryl @ RatRodRelics.com The 1953 Mercury is sitting on a 1978 Lincoln Mark V chassis with a 460.
She's low but not slow! We have a few more things to work on before she's road ready. We think we'll name her "Toad" or "Lerc", not sure which yet?! This well preserved 1951 Chevy Pickup followed us home today! Thanks to Mike's Wrecker Service once again for helping us out. We found this pickup in a garage. It was in there for over 20 years. We will get her back out in the sunlight and on the road again!!!
